cant figure out whats causing it. as im cruising over 7-8k rpm with my scorpion exhaust something on the front end of the bike starts vibrating and making a bit of a racket. nothing too extreme but enough to be distracting. its not the keychain. dont know if whatevers rattling is being caused by engine vibration or exhaust vibration.

it sounds like its coming from the front end of the bike.

anyone ever have this happen?

This was happening with my clutch, I tried to fit a washer in there but that was a no go. Put a little piece of paper and it stopped the rattling. Did scratch up the clutch with trying to get that washer to fit properly : (

Or the plastic cover on the radiator, it's not held very tightly and I'm pretty sure that's where my rattle comes from at about 5000 - 6000 RPM.

Mine was the plastic cover on the radiator

WTH??? Why didn't I think of that? Going to check it out. That sound drives me nuts....

EDIT: I've checked the radiator cover. That's not it. The sound comes from the engine, below the manifold, as marked on the pic

Tighten the bolt near the clutch pivot. It will take up some of the vertical freeplay. That's what I did and in stopped the rattle...

Oh thank god, I'm not the only one with the loose clutch lever!
Found myself riding around with my index finger streched out holding the lever still the other day without even realizing it.
So theres a bolt holding it in place? Will check this when I get home.
