Like to learn more about the gloves. I just picked up a pair of heated First Gear gloves that compliments my jacket, but it's made rather cheaply. It tore after just a couple of uses, I am exchanging them for another pair. This is after I had spent over $100 on Motorport Winter Kevlar Racing Gloves, it was rather dissapointing as it's built very well, but does not offer the warmth of what a winter glove should do. I would call the Motoport winter glove as more of an intermediate glove, not designed for real cold weather.
No idea how well these will hold up, but here's a quick 1st ride review:
They're very VERY warm. I initially put them on highest setting. After about 3 minutes the top of my right pinkie felt like it was burning
I was able to adjust the settings down to medium within seconds, at a traffic light. After another few minutes, I dropped the heat down to lowest setting and did not need to turn it up higher for the rest of the day (and I did some stretches at.. I'm just gonna say whatever the maximum legal limit is in NJ

) )
They ARE very bulky, but I don't know of any heated gloves which are not. It took me no time at all to get used to them.
Gauntlets are nice and long and provide plenty of overlap with the jacket.
Velcro straps provide good compression and ensure the gloves won't slip off.
Harness required undoing the battery leads to install. I was hoping it would be SAE, but no.. it's just 2 regular clamps. There is, of course, an inline fuse in the harness.
It wasn't all that cold out today, but I'm confident that these will work at well below freezing (since I didn't need to go past lowest setting today).
They're not cheap.. $150, but my ridercoach discount helped (20% off for gloves).
