Look what I did to my friend's R1 (HID)

3 Months ago, I didn't know a thing about bikes or mods. Since I bought my FZ6, I have learned so much from this forum and its members that I did this to my friend's R1. He is really happy with it. He helped me a lot with my first purchase, so I thought I would give something back. All of it for $150 all included + 7 hours of work

Angel's eyes always on.
And he can choose demon's eyes or HID or none with the switch.
HID projector is bi-xenon, so low-hi all works.
It looks awesome, almost make me wish I had a R1.

I didn't need the beer since I was the one returning the favour, but the beer always keep coming anyway

I did put on a projector with HID on mine, very happy with it, but I converted to a naked bike so I can't have the dual eyes. And naked bike in my opinion looks better sober, no fancy angel's eyes or anything. Also I have the vs-2 kit and the projector doesn't look as good in such a big headlight. I don't know how to make it look better, any ideas welcome.

You see, doing your own stuff on your own bike makes you learn a LOT!! :BLAA:
As for the projector in your "big" headlight: try to get a bigger projector shroud that fits your projector
Or you could do the lexan/poly approach like I explained in PM

Yeah, I did learn a lot :Flash: You are the one that convinced me to get into this in the first place

For my headlight, I am considering putting a black foam board at the back to hide everything that is behind the shroud. Not sure how it will look though. Will keep thinking about it...
