WTB - 17tooth front sprocket (520pitch)

Ok, now you've helped me get the sprocket, I need a chain!

Hello my fellow forum participants - I want to change to a 520pitch chain/sprockets setup.

I have contacted Supersprox, Vortex etc and it seems they don't do a 17/520 for the FZ6.
(As long as the spacer/off set/spline is the same, it doesn't matter WHICH bike it comes from!)

So, does anybody know where I could perhaps get a 17 tooth front sprocket in 520pitch to suit the FZ6?

I would really appreciate any and all help.

Are your sure? When I choose the 520 converison option for a 2007 FZ-6 at Vortex, it shows a 17 tooth sprocket, no. 3271 - 17 teeth.

I have been on the Vortex site and there was NOTHING listed in 17T.

And now, suddenly, there is!

Ok, new problem.

I just went to buy a chain and saw this warning, saying the chain you get must be compatible with your bike yada, yada, yada.

Obviously I need a 520 pitch x-ring chain, but wholy crapola there are a lot of options!

Last chain I bought was for my Z750, and I got a good quality o-ring chain to suit 750+.

Am I reading too much into this, or do I just need a good quality x-ring chain?

Edit: I like the look of the RK GB520GXW as it's rated up to 1000cc and will hopefully give me decent life. Thoughts, opinions?
