It would be either or. The belly pan covers the exhaust and under the engine. The lower fairings do as well, but they also extend up to the upper fairing (as you already know).

How quickly and easily can these be put on? I live near the border and plan on putting them on States side and riding back across. Canada customs adds 13%.![]()
You have the original bolts for the engine mount; you'll have much better luck leaving the sliders at home. But DON'T Crash on the way there and Back!![]()
