Once you have a picture uploaded to your computer or on a memory stick, key up on if your responding (as you did here).
Below that, where it says "
attach files", click on "
manage attachments"
A screen will come up wo "upload file from your computer"
Browse
Key up on browse and look in what ever folder you have the picture in(ie, go to your pictures), find that folder, then click on it.
Once it shows, click on upload.
Once that's done, hit "submit reply" as usual and the picture will be posted underneath..

I looked at my 07, where the lock cylinder goes into the steering head (LS of the frame as you sit on the bike). It appears to be a cast/raised, then machined piece of aluminum. If just that busted off you'd be ok.
IMHO, I'd pull off everything needed to get a good look at the area. If there's any stress cracks elsewhere,
your gambling big time. That area supports your steering bearings/front end..
For that to bust off, was the bike parked and hit with the steering locked??
The locking cylinder, of course, only comes out and into that cast part of the frame when the steering is turned and locked. To bust that off, I'd think the steering would have had to been turned/locked at the time...
