edit a pcture in, please

Headlight Surround (the black bracket that holds the bolts for the headlight).

I think JayJay refers to this:

Maybe you could make an alternative version as well, without the original indicator holes and only "tiny" holes for led indicators (so we don't need the adaptor plate) or even a version without the holes, if we want to relocate the indicators :)

Grtz,

now the heel plates are a great peice to start with, on ebay 39.99 plus shipping and handling. id be comfortable with $19.99 to $24.99 for the pair (have to see the total overhead once material arrives). what do you guys think?

I think you should/could start on some (small or easy) pieces that aren't readily available.
If you could make some new parts in carbon fibre, you would have less/no people that already bought it from another vendor. :)

i have the same set, i see what your saying i would need you to pick out you leds and send them to me. if you have the tools PM me a diagram of what exactly you would want as well.

i see this turning into a custom carbom fiber part.

An easy solution would be to integrate the indicator adaptor plate into the original hole, giving you the same location and diameter as with the plates installed.

It's just a matter of placing some layers of carbon fibre over the existing indicator hole and drill a simple hole in that place (I think it's 8-10mm).

Degake

p.s. I think, if you could make a shaved version, it would be the easiest way to make a fully original version, and just cut out the pieces around the indicator hole, and apply some extra layers of fibre to make everything smooth and flush

I was going to make these myself but what about the headlight trim for the fz16 (vs-2) kit sold by dev_usc. i would gladly send mine over to make a mold, and i bet anything they'd be a popular sale

talking about the red parts, sorry this is the only pic i have

Indeed, it should be similar to make as the OEM FZ6N headlight surroundings.
Maybe make these 2 first :D You will cover a VERY big group of buyers :p
And doing these, you can get some practice before tackling some more difficult pieces (seat cowl, frame protectors, grab rails, even upper/full front fairing :D)

Thanks for the comment. Would you like to elaborate on some of the pieces you think that other vendors are missing out on that we could make? We are open to any and all suggestions.

'05 R6 upper? I've got one boxed and ready to ship in my garage. It fits 03 to 05 R6, and '06 to '09 R6S.

Game?

PM Me a picture as well as others who are interested in CF pieces. This project is focused on the FZ6 and leaning towards starting out with smaller pieces, but am open to all who are interested. thanks again and dont forget to "thank" the mebers post who listed parts.

Some things come to mind:

- rear speedometer cover for round gauges (the '07 and up are already available)
- front fork protectors
- upper yoke protectors (full version: the piece between the handlebar clamps has already been done)
- sidepods (as carbon-fibre-accessories.com (Rob in Portugal) is down...)
- headlight surroundings (FZ6N OEM, VS-1/VS-2 kit)
- headlight "eyebrows" (faired version)
- fender eliminator? (I have once seen a full carbon fibre fender eliminator with build-in indicators and it looked sweet )

I think these little/easy pieces will get you started ;):D

@ Cameronhall:
Will you have an autoclave to your's disposal?
Could you give us some info on the way you'll be making the pieces?
And what materials used? (which type of weave, colours available, etc.)
