First time driving my duelly in 3 months

So today is the first time ive drove my "Big Dub Diesel" in almost 3 months now since I am aquired my fz and I found myself trying to drive this 7000lb 14 foot long 2006 chevrolet 3500 like it was 400 pounds and 5 ft long. (Only for a couple miles until I snaped outta it) I just thinking to myself what is wrong with this truck, it wouldn't stop it wouldn't turn it wouldn't take off , until I finally realize it's not the truck it's me. What's this thing on the dash this is power on cd in ac on hot cold. Once I turned the radio on and herd wait whats that is that music I hear that joyous sound I once loved....it all came back to me

I hear ya, i got in my Cavalier b/c the bikes rear is down to nothing, started driving it and was like "WTF? Whats wrong with my car it's sooooo slooooow"
Then i tried taking a turn (by accident) at the same speed as my bike, that went poorly to say the least... Cars are ruined for me, although that can be looked at as a good thing i guess

Ditto! The cage just doesn't GO, brake, or corner. It seems to take a couple miles to drop my expectations. . .

I got my Jeep back after a week and a half in the body shop. I drove it a couple days and now I'm back on 2 wheels. Don't get me wrong, I like my Jeep but I like my FZ better.

I'm flirting with the idea of a heavily used diesel full-size HD pickup vs. a gasser, don't need it but it seems like it should last longer and be a learning experience.

I hear you on the abrupt change to riding a cage after a while on the bike...when I rode most of one summer, I got in the family van afterward and started leaning as I approached corners..

Thanks and it was more of a necessity for me when I bought it new but ima die hard chevy guy till the day I die so my opinion will be swayed toward a duramaxx every time and will say that the duramaxx puts more power to the ground then the powerstroke or cummins is even rated at but on diesel vs gas it really just depends on if you need it or not yes you can get a diesel with 200k+ and will do another 200k without a sweat but as far as driveability there is no real difference

If it weren't for hauling around all my duty gear, or towing my boat, I'd never use my truck all riding season.
