i went by myself, it was a good atmosphere, though it wasn;t a typical track day event
it was really good, i was in the novice group, and only struggled with the litre bikes on the straights, on the corners i was faster/more confident. Bike handled quite well, though probably isn't a knee down machine, pegs might have been scraping if the previous owner hadn't already worn them down
my bike is fairly stock, though i'm going to upgrade to braided hoses. Spent most of the time in 2nd and 3rd gear, with a bit of 4th on the straights.
it's well worth learning about what lines to take, etc. We followed instructors about to learn the track, and then had them follow us and give feedback.
the afternoon was a little wet, but i was still pushing my bike harder than i ever have on the road
i think it has the right amount of power to be a lot of fun. that said i am interested in getting a proper sports bike to track on
