First "Nice Bike" of the year...

Today was 58 F, sunny, and most of the snow is melted so I took the bike (Red '07 FZ6) out for a quick trip to the post office. I parked my bike near the front and started to turn off the engine when I heard "Hey, nice bike" from a lady that was exiting the Post Office. My first for the year... normally they start in June.

I rode mine to work the other day ( i worked at one of the remote offices) and when i got back from lunch i got a spot right outside the front door. The visitor desks are at the top of the stais right above the lobby, and all afternoon i got to to hear people come inside and it seemed like they were all talking about the bike. most were talking about how it is the "new design" and some were saying how crazy "someone was" for riding because it was still so cold. and others were just simply saying how nice it looked and they had no idea what it was.... All made me smile inside because i could eavesdrop on their conversations....

I used to ride over Ortega highway early on Sunday mornings when I lived in SoCal and cruise up to Siverado canyon for a stop at Cooks corner.. One morning I was geared up and stopped at Starbuck's for a cup of coffee before heading out. A cage with two women about 60 pulled in across they way. As they walked towards the door I was taking off my helmet, balaclava and gloves only to see one of them headed for the bike. As I was putting the helmet down one of the women asked, "aren't you a little old for that?" I hadn't even had my coffee yet!!! In return I asked if she wanted to try it and if looks could kill I wouldn't be typing this.........

not so much, we are both on our own laptops watching TV next to each other, we are lame though and choose to talk to each other through forums than turn to the side and talk in person...

I was just getting to the storage unit after taking delivery about 2 weeks ago. I was getting the lock off the unit when this car pulled up behind wanting to get thru so I proceeded to get back on the bike pull it into the unit. The lady was waiting when I came out and I of course apologized for blocking the way and she said.. "Dont worry about it... its always a pleasure to see a good looking man on a Hot bike"
