Rear shock pre-load hard to adjust

The contact points where the friction is greatest; aka the shaft where the adjust collar rotates contacts the springs flat end and shock body. . .

OK - I'm trying be good, but its hard! :rolleyes:

LOL.. yeah.. I applied grease to the *teeth* of the collar. The actual notches that snap into place as you rotate the preload adjuster. If that's not clear, I'll take a pic.

Sorry for the delay. Here you go: Picture shows view looking through the slot from the left side of the bike (this is where you normally insert the spanner to change the pre-load).
