After a helmet saving my head once I'll never ride without one on. Every saftey device there is always has a group of people that say "ah they cause as much death as they save". I say thats bull.
I even have a mate that doesn't wear a seat bely tin his car because he thinks it'll kill him if he crashes. Dumass

I am sure I'd have cracked my skull in half if it wasn't for the lid I had on.

I'll always wear a helmet when riding my motorcycle. I don't care if my state repeals the helmet law, I will continue wearing mine.

If not for crash protection, having a visor is of great importance in deflecting flying debris and keeping one's eyes from watering.

I would never ride my bike without my full face helmet. I don't understand why some riders choose not to wear one. They are not required in Indiana, so I see a lot of guys not wearing one.

(not so) funny story though, my friend almost died because he was wearing a seatbelt. He was in a taxi, it emergency stopped, the seatbelt cracked his sternum. His chest cavity got infected, he then got septecemia, (spent several weeks in hospital), and one of his retinas detached, leaving him mostly blind in one eye. It was a 1 in a million though though.

Yea, but consider had he not been wearing the belt, he most likely would have ended up a projectile given the damage inflicted by the belt. You never know, he may have been injured more severely.

I'll admit I don't wear as much gear as I should (usually just helmet and jacket), but I'd never go without a helmet - that's just crazy talk!
