The Ashes 2010-11

Have been out all day! Just saw the scores! Am glad i was out all day!!! Oh deah!

Hangs head in despair & shame!

:shakehead:

I sat there in disgrace till we were bowled out :shakehead: then I watched Cook/Strauss add to their 1000000 run averages

Well done England on retaining the Ashes , you have out played the minnows of world cricket :spank: We are a laughing stock :(

Dont bother with the ODI series , we would be better off trying to win the local meat raffle........ Probably cant even do that ;)

Ricky Ponting :shakehead: I have stood up for you for too long , have you ever heard of grade cricket in Tasmania ?? thats right , thats where you started , perhaps you should go back there & learn what playing cricket is all about  & take the pretty boy Michael with you........... PLAY THE GAME , NOT THE MILLION $$$ CONTRACTS

Mitchell , you are still & always will be the most overrated cricketer EVER to pull on a baggie green....

 over , im mad  Let me pick a side of talent that wants to actually be there...

And to think , the selectors wanted to get rid of Hussey , great move that would have been.....

Are you cross mate?

Still three more days of cricket left mate. I'm sure we will have a good bash at throwing it away.
Don't be down on Ricky, he is still a bloody great Captain and player.

Im am little...... ummmmm animated :BLAA: Is it that obvious...

Its true what I say though , they are on million $$$ contracts & they are playing like an under 11's side , frustrated is a better word for what im feeling

I think Ricky's time has come though Neil , yes he was great & i've defended him when people bagged him but I appears its over... Unfortunately & lucky for him we have no replacement :(

Nice to Whinging Ricky voted Sportsman of the Year by the Umpires Association. Closely followed by Won't Walk Clarke. Will he be Whinging Ricky's successor as Strine Captain?

444-5. Not a bad reply so far. Declaration in the morning or will England wait until lunchtime?

Im betting you lot will bat till just before lunch , bowl us out by tea  then all head to the nearest pub for a beer :D... Sound about right ???

And Ricky & Siddle did themselves no favours today , carrying on the way they did :shakehead: Give it up Ricky , for once I was on KP's side...

Do you think Whinging Ricky knows his days are numbered? Was he told to win the series or lose the captaincy?

Have to say that with the way the changing weather has affected the pitch England may not bowl as effectively in the second knock.

England should declare after lunch to give Australia as little notice as possible...

It was brilliant watching him have a moan, just go's to show how much tension there is.

I think we will go as long as we can until the wicket is nicely cut up, then get you lot in for a hard last session.
We don't have a great record of declaring. You Aussies always seem to find another gear.

Nelly

Well, i just got home from my second day in a row at the Sprintcar racing, and just saw the score card...if Australia can come back from this...It would be the biggest comeback since Lazarus!

I think the ashes of the stumps from this test should be burnt, put in an urn, and a notice should be put in all the National Aussie newspapers Obituary sections, announcing the death of Aussie cricket....oh hang on, they already did that once before! ;)

Bravo England....you have managed to show us Aussie's just how crap we have become, and just how much you have improved...

In fact we have not become crap, we have dont have the rich vein of talent around the place, that we had for nearly 20 years! Plus the rest of the World has caught up!

I dont think we can possibly manage to become as bad as the West Indies did, after their golden era...but it will take Aussie Cricket a few years to get back to the top of World ranking's...there is a truckload of work to be done!

Too much faith has been shown in too few for a while now...

Genius, Siddle takes five and is then pulled out of the attack wtf.

The sun is shining for England:BLAA:

Nelly:thumbup:

There isnt enough gears in an 18 speed gearbox to save our ar$e$ this time , im deperatly praying for rain :D
Thats so funny Daniel,
When we won the Ashes in 2005 my Aussie mate "Aussie Mat" (from Perth, you might know him) always gave me a hard time for the way the weather helped us.

Rain will still give us a draw and the urn so you need another plan.

We dont have another plan! We are f*****!!!

:(

I don't blame him, the way the Aussies are playing.......

England 513 all out.

Australia 98 and 169-6.

Australia only need another 246 from 4 wickets to make England bat again.
