The Ashes 2010-11

You would feel crap too if you faced the prospect of being the only Aussie captain to ever losing 3 ashes series!!!! Lol!

He's got a long way to go before he's lost the series though. even if England win this game it's still possible to tie the series innit?

:BLAA:You only sing when your winning,
You only sing when your winnnnnning
You only sing when your winning

Two days with out barley a post, then you have two players on form and your all up for it. 3 pages of listening to ya lol. Fair one.

What a fantastic capitulation by us Pommes. Was Johnson really on it or what? Again as I have not seen any highlights yet. Was the wicket doing much? Still two very closely matched sides. how did KP get out? Was he chasing down the wicket or did he stop moving his feet?

We are going to have to really pull it out to get a draw in this one.
I must say this is a very well balanced thread. Thanks for making it bearable guys n Kazza.

Day 2 was a great day of cricket. Plenty of drama, shots played & wickets taken. Fantastic.
It was nervous stuff seeing Cook & Strauss make a start. Amazing how quick a game can turn.
We can confidently say we will get a result in Perth. That deck is alive & kicking

good to see the waca pitch fireing up for the bowlers hey. australia needs to step up on the bating now if we can, but yeah great couple of days

Nelly :spank:

The only reason I didn't post on Day 1 was because I was there - no bloody 3G reception for the phone. You know we post whether we're winning or losing.....

I am going again for Day 4 and hopefully Day 5.

When you see the highlights you'll see how much swing Johnson and Siddle were getting - fantastic wicket. Beautiful in-swinger from Johnson trapped KP for LB :)

Go Australia :aus:

If the series is tied, then your lot retain the ashes! As your lot currently hold the ashes! So Australia has to win the series....which in this case means Australia HAS to win this test and the next!!! Yikes!

Man, yesterday was good! Sitting in my shed, drinking a beer, working on my bikes, watching the cricket...watching Ausralia play like Australia for the first time this Summer!

The momentum has swung in Australia's favour in a big way!!! Now, after this test, it will be a measure of the English team's true grit, as to whether they can regain momentum, and take the series, or whether Australia runs with this result, and sweeps all before them in the remainder of the series....

Australia can now thank Mitch for sparking them, and Hussey for holding together a very fragile batting line up!

Scary thing for the Poms...both Clarke and Ponting are due! Neither have slumps that last very long...both quality test cricketers...

Swan looks to be in a bit of trouble too...was held back for a long time today, and when he did bowl, he bowled like a man who was on the back foot!

Poms also miss the pretty boy...Broad, his variation with the ball was sorely missed in this match...

Well, here I am again. 7am, been at the WACA for 40 minutes already.

Not so many people here today - I guess there must be more pommie WACA members than I thought because they are too scared to turn up today :rof:
