Nice present!

Gonna be a good Christmas this year, all that OT I put in during the fall gets to pay off for me now!!!

So excited to see my kids faces, especially my son. He has wanted a game system for a long time and we have been very much against it. He would never guess I would give in and buy one, gonna be a blast. Also a wonderful motivator as I have something new I can threaten to take away if they don't be good and help around the house. :D

Well not only did i get a nice new helmet (which i bought myself!) and the OP mentioned LED LCD TV, but my missus also bought me this lovely RJays leather jacket...CE approved armour, removal qulited liner, 3 pockets, stretch panels, perforated leather in "hot spots"....

Will also zip straight to my RJays leather pants!!!

Was a very good Christmas this year!!!

I scored an Alpinestar leather jacket (early), Fz1 bars and new grips from my wife. (She rocks btw)
Opened a card from my mother-in-law this morning and found enough dough from her to get a Go Pro HD tomorrow when the stores open. Woo hoo!

Well I didn't get anything cool for my bike, but I got a new hand cannon!

Cool PX4!

Too bad that owning a firearm here in Finland has become extremely difficult due to the school shootings a few years back...

And for Christmas I got:

Uzi wristwatch
Böker AK74 folding knife
Canon Powershot G12 (I bought myself)
Lowepro camerabag
Razer Kinzu mouse for my laptop (from my little brother)

dean those kettlebells look heavy...do they work in a similar manner to dumbells?

that one is pretty heavy. but you can get kettlebells all the way from 4kg/9lbs to 48kg/106lbs pretty easily. i'm pretty new to kettlebells so i do most of my work with a 16kg/35lb bell. i've recently started using a 24kg/53lb bell pretty regularly. i'll slowly be working in the new 32kg/70lb bell. i can swing and clean it but that's about it.

and as far as similar manner... it's very different. barbells and dumbbells are used more in an isolation type of exercising. when using kettlebells you'll hit multiple muscles all at once. and because of how explosive the exercises are you get cardio at the same time you get strength training. i've tried to find a few videos that really show some basics. here are some so you can get an idea.

here are a few youtube channels if you want to dig a little more.

since the end of october i've lost about 20 lbs, gone down two belt loops and one pants size. and the greatest thing is i'm having fun while doing it.

I'll take a pic of the Holdens with the new camera if you want.....

Come on, I know you're jealous of my cars - they are Holdens ;)

Not gonna start a Holden V Ford war here - we have enough opposites as it is - don't need another LOL

You'll see the Berlina in Feb  Bet ya can't wait....

I actually really don't have an issue with holdens...great Aussie cars...I just like stirring the pot! ;)

I still love my XR6 though! In fact I gave it a bit of a tub up today...still looks great after 179000 km's.

Only reason I bought the ford in the first place is because they are better cars for towing! As was evident last night at the sprint cars at Murray bridge...heaps more falcons than commodores... The ****y's love their falcons!

I'll be interested to see how the Berlina goes with towing - it's a new Series II, 3.0 V6. Got the dealer to install the tow-bar on it - now just need to try it out :)

The old VZ towed really well. I don't have a towbar on the VE sedan, but that's a 3.6 V6. I'm sure it would tow no probs.

Gotta admit, we had a XR6 hire car a couple of years ago in Sydney - it was really good. Same trip, we hired a Holden in Melbourne - sad to say the Ford was better :(

Still, we're a Holden family - couldn't buy a Ford no matter how good they might be ;)

Woah there big fella! No need for that kind of language...lol.

That filter makes it hard to say stuff sometimes. Maybe you should replace ****atoo with shlongatoo. :BLAA:

Not exactly a present as much as it was a "take it or ill dump it" offer...

1981 GSX250. Absolute power!

Speaking of power its missing some key ignition pieces. LOL 2 hours of stuffing around and low an behold...there is no rectifier to test.
