The Ashes 2010-11

Woohoo! It's all done! Rhino gets 6 for! Australia now has the momentum on the series!!! Bloody brilliant!
 
During batting practice, Justin lost the cross from his necklace. He looked upset and the kids were looking for it.

That should clear up Humpys confusion :D
 
..... and there you all were saying that the Aussies had lost the series.

We played as badly in this game as you did in the last one. Well done.:thumbup:

Which won't help England - they'll be too complacent knowing they can win with a tie.

I would be gutted if he was out. To beat the Aussies you have to beat Ricky. That bloke is the epitome of Aussie sporting greatness. Also give the bowlers something to aim at (sorry did I say that, I was just thinking out loud lol).

Well it would make it a bit more interesting. I got a free DVD in the paper about that 1932 series. Brutal.

"I don't want to see you, Mr Warner. There are two teams out there, one is playing cricket. The other is making no attempt to do so".

It has a short interview with Larwoods daughter. I felt sorry for Larwood, he was an honorable man who was essentially ordered by the MCC to use the Bodyline theory. At the end of the tour the MCC asked him to write a letter of apology for his bowling. Being the honorable man that he was he refused. This essentially ended his Test career.

Jardine seems to have escaped without a blemish on his character.

Funny thing is, it has absolutely poured down with rain all last night, and it's the same for today.

If only England could have batted through yesterday it would probably have been rained out later today :rof:
 
It's all about to start again folks...boxing day test starts in the morning, at the MCG, with an expected crowd in excess of 95000 people! Barmy Army will be swamped at the "G" Tomorrow! 90000 Aussies baying for the Poms blood!

The wicket is supposed to be a bit slow!

A draw in Sydney, after a win in Melbourne, will still give Australia the Ashes...Potentially, England could get away with 2 more drawn tests, but if they win this test, Australia can only tie the series in the 5th test...so a win in Melbourne gives the Poms the Ashes basically!!!!

It is possible that England will lose this test match but with Australia 98 all out it's unlikely.

Did I see that right? A new record low score of 98 all out for Australia :D
