Ducati 'must improve' for Rossi to be Rossi

He's probably thinking he should be nicer to Casey, as only a total psycho, nut job could ride that red hunk of crud like that for a seaon:thumbup:.

And to all those people who said Valentino is gutsy pushing other riders off the track....where were those vaunted cojones for the testing?...lol.:BLAA:

I think this coming season is gonna be pretty interesting, for several teams and riders. Perhaps the tables are going to be turned and a new game played...? Can't wait to see!

Check this out....Stoner and Rossi at the Valencia test...a (2) picture(s) is worth a thousand words!

Stoner looks excited...

Rossi looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders IMHO!

He sorta does... especially if he can't produce results... and didn't the Duc team have front end issues all last year? Not good for Mr. Rossi

:D:D:D:D

With a dodgy shoulder as well!

If Rossi wins the Championship next year...he will be called the greatest, if he loses, he will blame the bike...so he has nothing to lose...

I think Stoner, Spies, Dovizioso, Pedrosa all have more pressure on them...they are all on decent bikes!

Rossi will give the engineers great feedback so they can make improvements. Not just putting little winglets on the faring, like last year :D

An Italian on an Italian bike, it is either going be great or a great mess.
(we need an Italy flag smilie)

In this pic I think Casey is getting in some early practice for what its going to be like next year :D Just sitting there waiting for the rest of the field to catch up

Just sad they had too put Rossi on the bike before they fessed up too it. :spank:

If they told Rossi how bad the thing really was he would never have signed...

Nicky has never tamed it & he is a world champ (it think  , still not sure if he earned it or fluked it) All the Casey haters must now realise that he has ridden the wheels off a very very NASTY bike  & if Rossi can manage the feat Casey has then i'll be the first to praise him

We all know what will happen next year.

Rossi wins on the Duke, the Rossi lovers & himself will run around bagging the **** out of Casey with all sorts of crap that it took him to bring the best out of the bike etc etc.

If Rossi looses, the same thing will happen. It will be the cry that Casey made the bike **** & Rossi had no time to turn the development of the bike around.

So looking forward to next year. Will be brilliant if its just Stoner/Spies/Lorenzo fighting tooth & nail at the front

It's not about riding a broken bike fast - it's about fixing it first and then riding it even faster :) He did it once with Yamaha, hope he has enough time in that last 800cc season to do it again

As for those asking why he wasn't as ballsy during testing as he's during a race - it's just that - it's a test. It makes a lot more sense to me to target the weaknesses and figure them out so they can be fixed rather than trying to make the best of a bad machine :)

A lot of you forget that one of the main characteristics that make Valentino who he is, is not just his riding abilities but also his insight into the actual development process.

Cheers!

PMSL. I reckon he's gonna paint his helmet up like a Cheshire Cat. Lol. He does look pretty happy.

Hehe. Was wondering when you were gonna chime in... I can just imagine what your tongue looks like. How long were you biting it?? :D

Face it Rossi fans.....the signs are there....Rossi wasnt slow in testing cause he was taking it easy..he was slow cause the bike is a piece of crap! Rossi fans and their excuses...

At least when Casey is crap, us Stoner fans admit he is "human"....Face it Rossi fans....he is struggling...has been ever since he worked out the Lorenzo is faster than him on a good bike,Stoner is sometimes faster than him on a crap bike, and Dani is right there too....just to add inslut to injury!!!

Rossi's angst must be awesome right now...cause Lorenzo is still on the best bike, Casey is on a bike that now goes around corners, Dani has a BIG point to prove, and Rossi is on the Ducati! Lol!

:D
