Colorado Vacation

Jeff and I went out to Colorado Springs area for vacation, spent some time in the mountains, and got to visit with Lytehouse and her hubby.
It was a very nice trip. Here are some pics.

Jeff's friend is a retired Lt. Colonel, and works part time as a coach. He graduated from the AFA, so he had a lot of fun stories to tell us, and showed us around where the unescorted public are not allowed! It was really cool.

Trivia bit: Katharine Lee Bates was wrote "America the Beautiful" after a trip to the top of Pikes Peak. Picutres really don't do it justice.....it's really breathtaking up there, in more ways than one!

I always carry oxygen with me for both myself and the bike... just in case
