Cheap Brake/clutch levers

mine turned bronze. People have commented on the cool color :BLAA: saying it looks like gp levers :thumbup:
 
I've had mine for a few months, pretty cool mod.

Anyone have tips on making the clutch a bit less stiff? Buddies told me my clutch was heavy ass. Compared to fz6r and r6, my bikes clutch is super stiff.

I have noticed the last weeks that the levers have turned bronze. I like it :rockon:

I just got mine from helmet_hk last night. I got the black shorty's with the red adjusters. They fit perfectly and are a huge improvement from stock. I would buy them again and recommend them to all. I hope they don't turn bronze though...

i wonder if disassembling and clear coating the black would help.
 
Just wanted to chime in and say I just put on my new pair of levers from Fire Dragon Brothers via eBay. While they took forever to get here (I think due to customs, not their fault really) they fit perfectly, feel like quality pieces, look great on the bike, and function perfectly as well.

The only gripe I have is that you can see a few swirl marks in the finish if you hold it up to the light and look at a perfect angle, but you get what you pay for when it comes to aesthetics like that. I would still highly recommend them, and they were the cheapest ones on there (Cheaper than helmet_hk or w/e and moto777)
 
I ordered and installed the "gold" ones and IMO they are very very orange to me, but i am hoping that they will fade like has been posted to gold... either way orange looks kind of bling :)


they give the clutch and brake a very solid and affirmative feel to them, I like them a lot.

They look nice but they are made out of the same material as the other, cheaper eBay ones. The only reason I would buy those over the ones I got for around $60 is if you were determined to get the lever in a color you couldn't get via a cheaper listing, otherwise I think you will be just as happy with the other ones and would save around 30 bucks too.
 
Mine were black and are getting more bronze every day. I used to keep them under cover at work, but have since been kicked out of where I used to store and now have to bring my cover in with me. This means if I need to bring anything bulky with me into work my bike doesn't get covered. :(

It actually really pisses me off that such a nice looking and reasonably priced item is let down by not being US-resistant! What retard sourced the anodizing process they use. :confused:
