A Great Day

I had the day off work today, so I decided to take a little ride out to the mountains. First rode to Bragg Creek for coffee, then on to Highway 66 into Kananaskis Country. Breathtaking scenery worth a few stops and pics.

I rode out to the end of the highway at Forgetmenot pond, hung out by the pond for a while (which is one of the most beautiful and serene places in the world) then rode back to Bragg Creek for fuel and some lunch. Finally rode the twisties down Highway 762 through Millarville and back home the scenic way.

After I got home I still had time for a quick trip to the flying field...I fly RC airplanes also. Got in a couple nice flights with my Pitts Special before heading home. A thunder shower rolled in after that so I'm glad I made good use of the morning.

What a great day!!

Man, i cant believe the mountains are a day trip for you guys. it takes about 80% of a day to just GET to the mountains and back from edmonton. 2 day trip minimum. For you guys a 2 day trip would put you into the really sweet stuff.

God damn Calgary. I swear to god.

But that is an amazing day trip and I'm glad one of us can make em!

I did close to the exact same ride yesterday, but left a lil later in the day.

Decided to take a break on my career, quit, and im taking the entire summer off. needless to say, LOTS of riding and enjoying the scenery around here!
