New Toy

Got my +4 swingarm in the mail today. It's now widened by 5 inches in the front and back and 4 inches in the length. Bored 80 over and ready to rip!

Sounds like that blaster is getting some love, though. Too bad it ain't got a 350 twin on it!
 
Well It's finally 100% done.

Here it is with the swingarm streatched 4 inches

Stretched the rear by 5 inches with a ring spacer.

.80 over bore and Weisco piston
Boyesen reed cage a reeds.
Complete set of seals and bearings including crank
new chain
extended swingarm
new chain rollers
carb rebuild(and rejet)
new bars
eliminated TORS and Parking Brake along with all wiring
5 inches wider up front and back
new seat cover
front shock covers
vitos oil block off kit

I think that is it for now. I just need to install my DG front bumper and ride the wheels off it!
 
I've been looking for a 2 stroke quad for about 6 months now. I really wanted a Banshee, but it seems they are like gold around here. I found a 2003 Blaster this weekend that I took a look at. The guy wanted $700, but after i took a good look and pointed out a few things it needed he settled for $500. It's a freakin wheelie machine.

Exactly. I found one this past week but he is asking $1200!!! The local Yamaha dealer said it will pick the front end up as long as you want to carry it. The owner said it's just more or less a factory racer. It looks great but $1200 is too much. (I do like the two-stroke, six speed!)
