It seems as though Ben Spies is on the pace....and even Colin Edwards is showing some decent form, following on from his good showing last season, as the first "non-alien" in the field....

Wouldnt it be nice to have 3 "Colonials" - Stoner, Spies & Edwards, giving Rossi some argi bargi!!!!

I just watched the wrap-up of the first session. Looks like Spies crashed his bike. He's OK though.

Is great to see that Nicky Hayden finally seems to be coming to grips with the Ducati...would love to see him up near the pointy end of the grid a bit more this year...

Did Dovi and Pedrosa swap bikes? Last year Pedrosa was the one hanging onto the lead group sorta thing...lol.

I reckon Casey owns that track though. It seems to suit the Ducati and Stoner to a T.

Great to see Spies up the top of the list. This could be a great year:rockon:

Yep, as is sometimes the case, pre-season testing throws up some encouraging results for a few, but the real good guys seem to be able to hold just a little bit back before the "main game" gets happening, and then when it does start.....well, lets just hope we have more than 3 0r 4 bikes fighting for the win, over the season.

I was watching some of the post test interviews, and all of the Honda riders, well, except Dovi, are claiming to have similar problems in getting the bike to work for them. Melandri, Simoncelli, Pedrosa, Aoyama each complain about not being able to get a good feeling from their bikes...all Honda, so maybe something's up.

Don't know why they even bother with testing.

Valentino 2010 MotoGP champion. It's inevitable ;)

Rossi will be overwhelmed by a wave of colonial strength...Stoner, Spies, Edwards, Hayden, all beating him, and will announce that he is leaving Moto GP to start his own Moto 2 team!

Me too. I like Nicky, no BS, says it how it is... Could be a Ducati 1-2 with Spies, Edwards, Dovi rounding out the top 5.

Maybe you're right (doubt it though).

Think the guy could buy the entire Moto 2 field, not just a team.

BTW, he could ride this bike and STILL take out this years MotoGP title :)
