MY first Yamaha fz6 s2!! And i need answers one some questions on LEovince Slip-on

Hello everyone.

Im new here, and I have FINALLY got my brand new yamaha fz6 s2 2008 in ocean blue, my first bike and the certificate.:thumbup:
I have some questions. Im from norway and i want to buy a Leovince carbon slip-on, but in my ****ING country it costs 1515 dollars! and on morepowerracing.com it costs me about 700, but the question is can i use it legal in norway? is it E-approved.

And one more thing, I have viewed many clips on youtube about the leovince slip on but never in real, so to all of you with experience how does it sound with the db-killer in and out is vs the stock. thanks a lot!

I tried running mine without them in,they are obnoxiously loud, with them in, they are still loud! Honestly, running without the db killers draws the wrong kind of attention. There is no comparison to stock pipes, Leo's are a massive improvement in sound and performance.

Don't know the answer to your first questions, but in regards to the sound: Very well balanced growl at the low RPM's and a nice howl at the high end with the DB killers in. I only heard it out when it was on the dyno and it was too loud for my liking, but did sound mean!

BTW, congrats on your new bike!

Make sure you buy the E-marked, road legal ones with the DB-killers in, if you buy the race ones and buy the DB-killers afterwards, they won't be E-marked. Also, if you install a decat pipe (as I did with my Scorpions) it usually states that it will invalidate the E-marking. Good luck.

thanks man, I talked to the store morepower racing, ( which ia a esellent store, i got an coupon and got 15 % off, so i paid 630 dollars for a loevince sbk 2 carbon,oval) and they said it was E-marked. you realy had a good point there, thanks
