New Leathers! Dainese Lagunas

I picked up a set of Dainese Laguna leathers a few weeks ago at Cycle Gear, they were having a sale.

I am blown away by the quality of the leather, the fit, and the armor. There is a ton of kevlar stretchy material for the back of the legs and underarm area, and full perf from shoulder to knee.

The leather is very supple, fit like they are painted on. and the armor is first rate.

I hope I never need them but I am confident in them if I do they will protect me just fine.

Excellent choise, Dianese is pricey as hell, but damn worth it if you can afford it. Glad you like the fit, hope you never need them.

Not too bad price wise, they were 20% off, about $699 or $799, I don't recall right now.

Dainese lists this suit as the entry level one, I can't imagine what the top level one is like.

This one has a zip out liner, very nice for keeping the odors at bay!

That "entry level" suit sells for about $2000 in Australia!

One of the guys from SoCalRiders I rode with Sunday up in Idyllwild had a Dainese with like leather tooling and killer looking Titanium shoulder caps. They do have some nice gear!

Great choice, I am a confirmed Dainese fan and have been since I started riding. My first leather jacket was Dainese and I still have a textile jacket from them that is at least 25 years old.

Currently I have a Dainese leather jacket, zip together leather pants and two pairs of gloves.

:thumbup: Big fan of Dainese myself. I got a zip together jacket and jeans and as well as the good feel and fit of the armour, it's just so comfortable. I do feel as safe as a 2 piece will let you. The thermal insert in the jacket is really good as well; definitely toasty.

They do make nice gear. I can't get over how comfortable they are and the great fit.

My old AGVs are a very good set of leathers but these feel like they were made just for me. "Isn't that special?" < Use your best Church Lady voice here.
