So I have been abusing the wealth of knowledge you all provide for a few months, thought I should at least post pics of what you have helped me with.

Thanks for all the help. New mods to come, which means more postings of random questions!! :)

Here she is. '09, Cobalt Blue, with around 2020 miles.

BTW, I have a carbon Browning Cynergy shotgun in black that I named "Black Betty" (also attached), so every time I down a pheasant, I can sing a riff. Open to suggestions on naming the bike along similar lines. :D

outstanding choice in color. you are going to love her. as far as names, i was thinking of naming mine the bruise. black and blue, get it? :squid:

congratulations and enjoy!

oh, and in regards to the pheasant... watch out, this could be their chance to get back at you! i say the first mod you should do is mount that shotgun

My vote is for BAM-A-LAM!!!

whoa, black betty (bam-A-lam)
whoa, black betty (bam-A-lam)
Black betty had a child (bam-A-lam)
The damn thing gone wild (bam-A-lam)
She said "I'm worrin' outta my mind" (bam-A-lam)
The damn thing gone blind (bam-A-lam)
I said oh black betty (bam-A-lam)
whoa, black betty (bam-BA-lam)

Your bike is lookin' good!!

Are you sure it's an '09? Cobalt Blue was a 2008 color. The '09s are "Deep Blue".

Tim
Yeah, it's an '09 according to everything I have. Most likely I just have the name of the color wrong. When it's in the garage or out of the sun it seems to have the same tone as the '09's on the website, but now you got me scurred

Looks good. Hey, how do you get that helmet to stay there (i.e., without danger of falling off). I know on my old CBR F4, there was a grab strap on the seat and I just tucked the strap under there and it held pretty good. On the FZ6, there's nothing to hold onto.

Hey is that a Shoei RF-1000? I just bought one today and rode without earplugs and the sound of the Scorpions reved to 5K ish RPM is sweet. I thought the Scorpions sounded good -- but without earplugs and with the RF-1000, it sounded really good . I sat at the red light and rev'ed it like a teenager :D.

I think you'll really dig that new FE kit -- I like mine.

Thanks,

Dennis

Dennis,

Helmet just sits there for me, it likes to have its picture taken. VAIN. :)

Yeah, RF-1000. The only thing I will ever own. So you switched helmets? Were you rolling n HJC before or something, can't remember. Without plugs and the Shoei, those scorps do sound sweet.

Well, I guess I gotta pick up the kit then. Does it work well with the Scorpions? Anything I should watch out for?
