Evil Mike Vs. Good Mike

LMAO. I don't think anyone can convince me one way or the other really. I'm just going through all the sordid details and slapping them up here for your entertainment...lol.

That way everyone can see that I am a complete nutter and that way feel better about themselves (unless they are honest with themselves...we're all nutters).

I saw an 08 FZ1 with 1500 km on the clock for 12,000 shmackeroonies:eek:.

Now that is extremely tempting...lol.

Cheers
Mike

Lol....i have known your nuts for ages! Anyone that will willingly ride through the Adelaide Hills at night, in pouring rain, just for the heck of it...must have rocks rattling round in their skull....

Remember that FZ1 in Tassie for $9000.....now that's a bargain...and a pretty decent sized ride home to get you used to your new steed!

LOL......this is getting more and more like a "someone please convince me not to get an FZ1 thread" thread!

1.08 around Mallala hey...that's movin and groovin big time....

Hehehe, looks like it, huh!!

As for the 1:08.. Not bad, same time as a pro driver in a 600 Hp V8 Supercar.. Not bad at all.

Yup. Price is good and it's only got 18,000 km on it but this one is at 1,500km....another 100km and it's run in...lol.

I don't know how this would effect your decision BUT I got my 08 for 8,5+ ORC's brand new
Obviously on road it came to closer to 10, but for brand new with full warranty that wasn't bad, and I also didn't bargain as hard as I should have :(
You might be able to get one from a dealer on road even lower than that (an 08 at least) if you really haggled! That being said it won't have all those aftermarket goodies, and I don't know how competitive the dealers are where you are but might be food for thought if you haven't considered it!

*Note if I went back again I'd probably try and buy one second hand with some of the mods I want already installed, but you know what they say about hindsight being 20/20

The price isn't too bad looking at the market. Pipes are likely to set me back 700-ish and a Venturuer Bag and rack was 300+ for the double sided bags if I remember correctly. Tank bag. Also the colour is right. I will be able to buy back my bike for next to nix and that gives me a track bike when fixed up, but it also means I've got the spare tanks and fenders etc. to match.

So if i talk him down a few hundred I reckon I'll be looking at this one pretty hard. 'Cause with another few grand I can have my blue beast out on the track and that, is a dream come true......Like putting it out to stud:rockon:

Well at least its blue - the slowest colour, I'm sure he'll drop the price a bit taking that into account :rof::spank:

Maybe you're right. I always seem to get blasted by the litre bikes on the straights......but for some reason they are slower through the corners.....must mean the blue ones are faster round corners:rockon::rockon::D

Cheers

Well it looks like I'm going another blue 07 fz6. I'll be trying to purchase the beast back from the insurance company and fixing the damage myself so I'll have an FZ6 track bike :wav::steve::sinister::bow::drool::hug::cheer::D:Flash:

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about that. Would have been too sad an end to an awesome bike otherwise.
