I went to my work parking lot after hours and practiced clutch wheelies for about 30 min and was starting to get good at it. I don't like the power wheelies yet, I know many say these are easier but I disagree. The bike is moving to fast by the time you bring it up for doing something your new at. (IMO).
Oh yes the CRUNCH! does hurt! First your a little tense from the surprising high wheelie you did when you only meant a little one and then you hit the panic lever and WHAM!! So not only do the boys hurt, getting that all so familiar rack pain in your abdomen and still nervous from the sudden lift. Then looking around to see if anyone saw you so professional display of squidness. Sad thing is as soon as the pain is gone so is the memory and your looking for the next long stretch of blacktop to try it again, telling yourself the whole time that you are practicing emergency techniques.
