Hey! It"s a bike, but smaller!!!

So, before i ever had an FZ6. I was experiencing my rides on a miniature version of a sport bike. These mini bikes are known as Pocket Bikes. Has any one ever tried these things out? This is a photo of the one I just purchased like 4 months ago.

Specs:
4 Stroke 110cc Engine Manual
Seat height: 28"
Hit speeds of up to 60 mph. (never hit that speed yet on this lil thing)


Even if you guys haven't owned of these lil bikes. What do you think of the idea?

These things are stupid. People in my city drive them around on the street even though they arent supposed to. They break all the rules by riding up one ways in the wrong direction, blowing through stop signs, etc. Granted not all riders are stupid on them but a majority of the people in my city are. One guy actually died. Got hit by a car while ridinig it. No gear either. Usually I would feel bad for the guy but he did kind of deserve it. I have ridden one before. I'd just rather ride the fz, way more fun!

Wow, completely agree with you that the majority of people do ride these things stupidly. Me personally, I took this lil toy out today to ride around the block for an 1hr and i took all my protection with me. Helmet, gloves, protection vest. and jeans.. even though it was hot. the wind cooled me down for the most part. And then later...tok it to a vacant lot, and started stunting on it. Boy is it fun to do wheelies knowing that even if the bike falls, it's not that expensive and my fall wont be that serious... ha.. just my .02

Nice bike there mate.
One of my mates at work has one, (same thing but with dirt-bike tyres) he and his buddies have a weekend once a month, at one of their properties.. have made up a track of sorts, he says it's awesome fun.

Damn, wish i had nice property to make a lil track..Sounds like alot of fun. and that's crazy.. dirt bike tires on the bike...haha.. curious how the ride is..

I've been wanting to get one to do stunts on. They're illegal on base, which is the only place in this area I'd feel safe doing it though.

great idea as far as learning...my first pocket bike was a 50cc 2 stroke automatic bike. i learned turning and balancing on it and then after started stunting.. then i was really eager to get a real bike, so since i've never ridden manual. i wanted to get something to practice on. Got myself the manual pocket bike and was a great decision. I KNOW I KNOW..the big bike and the little bike are completely different. but, i learned the fundamentals of shifting, when to shift, down shifting, using the rear brake and front brake. a few other things too.

I had one. Used to do a bit of racing with a bunch of guys in some parking lots. Was fun... But I would much rather be busting out laps on my motocross bike!

I have a 49cc 2 stroke, thats getting rebuilt as a 125cc 4 stroke with a turbo.

DAMN...turbo! must have some extra spending money or atleast you can do all this yourself... but thats cool.
