360 Brake Hides in Wheel Hub

i don't know about that, they say it is plenty vented but i am not sure how it can be considering the rotor has no space not covered by brake pad for cooling, It is a cool concept though.

Ok, I'm not getting it. How does the brake work? Is it a disk or just a fancy way of bringing back drums?

there is more info @ 360brake dotcom. it doesn't seem like a drum but a caliper that fully incircles the rotor.i also don't see how it keeps it cool.
just wait and see if everyone starts using a similar design it is obviously superior

The cruiser guys can have it... It looks cool, good idea if it works... but I'll keep my discs!This has been around for a little while. Mostly "show" bikes use this due to the $$ aspect. Don't know if I'd trust this brake system on the Dragon.:thumbup:
until i see it on factory backed teams in AMA or motogp i wouldn't trust it on the driveway.

After reading there website, I can't see how this is better than a traditional brake. If the hub is only 5" dia, then the disk would have to be smaller. It has to heat up like no other. Sounds like you would get horrible brake fade and the fact that it clamps 360 on the rotor, would only heat it up faster. just my thoughts

looks ok but im the same cant see heat disapation being too good, but they say they have passed all tests so it probably does.

Looks cool to me. 
It says the rotor itself is vented (like a car's disk I assume) and the rotor hat has vents which must allow for cool air and somewhere for the dust to go. The radial grooves may help with the dust handling as well, not sure thou.
