Lets hope it fits.

looks fairly well used, which should not matter, with a Bagster bag...they last forever.

that is truely a great bargain, i paid $120 for mine off e-bay, and it was brand new, only been on a bike for a week when i got it.

yes it will fit, tank has not changed at all since 04.

underseat? dont you mean seatbag? like the oxford one that ozzieboy has? bra sits on seat, bag attaches via clip's

Nah I saw an article about a bag which actually connects under your seat (above the wheel), assuming there is room with your rear suspension fully depressed I can't see any issues, other than perhaps heat off the exhaust.

would love to see the article...never heard of such a thing....interesting to say the least!

Good buy! I think you'll be happy with it. I love mine. Bagster has some great tank bags to choose from. I have two, one big one small, dep on what I need for the day. They both have a strap which let's me carry them like a sling bag when I'm on foot.

Yes, the Bagster bags are great....strong, well made, and can be used as a backpack as well.

why would you want to cover your tank over???

Dings?
Scratches?
Paint Fading?

Dont tell me you guys buys these things as "investments"????

I HAD A RATHER BIG BINGLE BACK IN DECEMBER...AND THE TANK BAG SAVED MY TANK FROM CERTAIN DISASTER...CANT RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH...PLUS, THEY KEEP THE PAINT IN PERFECT CONDITION.....sorry bout the caps....just realised, cant be bothered fixing it, so i am not SHOUTING!

how about removing the tank sticker. The one near the fuel intake? its proving to be a bastard to get off.

is put on there by "Ba$tards incorporated" i think! is very hard to get off...took me yonks, and i did put a tiny little scratch on my tank doing it.....fortuneatly the second tank i bought did not have it.

dont have any smarty poo tips for getting it off either.....sorry.

I used CRC and a fingernail. Then washed and waxed the tank. I then scotchguarded the bagster seams.

Now trying to line up the straps...grr

Lining up the straps takes a while....fit it once, then pour hot water on it.....pudh down on the bag, evenly all over, then tighten the straps...gives a nice tight fit...oh, and you will always have just a little bit of tank showing on both sides of the bike, no matter how hard you try to pull it all the way over.

I don't have any tank showing under my bagster, but I also did not pour hot water on it. Maybe you shrunk it a bit in doing so?

nah, i think it's just mine.....Jay Jay's seems to be ok, from the photo's he has posted....as for shrinking it, dont think so, it got bigger after after i wet it with hot water....
