Heres to hoping its a fine day tomorrow, that way I can go for a nice ride, then continue digging a 1m deep trench through the clay in the back yard for the new sewage pipe. (After I somehow remove the water the holes have collected after all this rain)

Looking forward to a proper ride probably up the old pacific so I can see how the bike goes with the new oil and past the 8krpm range.

I hope so too mate.nearly had to turn the bike in to a jet ski the other day to get to work. I'm afraid June is the wettest month for Sydney so I doubt we will get much relief from the rain until next month which is one of the driest.

We australians are bad (im as much doing as anyone) (especially here in sa the dryest state in aus) We all hate the rain and wish it away, but when we are in drought year after year we wish it would rain. The last couple of years though you guys and humps mob have been coping it bad, i feel sorry for you guys and gals.

We are in the middle of winter as well, and in Johannesburg that usually means weeks of blue cloudless skies and no rain. However, we have had overcast skies for almost 2 weeks now with hardly a break, rain a couple of days and on Thursday we had a thunderstorm with hail. Crazy.

The month of June here in Massachusetts has had only 4 or 5 sunny days. Forecast says off and on rain for the next 4 days. Great...

why not hire a trench digger from kenards or similar for a day and get it all done without the epic saga of manually digging a hole?

We can't get one inside the property without major deconstruction of fences, garage, gardens, and retaining walls : (
They are also much more expensive for my parents than letting me do it free of charge
Also all the tree roots and clay in the property would apparently mean we needed a really heavy one, otherwise it won't make any real headway.

But yea I wouldn't mind the rain if it fell in the right places!
Its dropping no-where near the catchment and all over my riding areas!
We normally comment on particularly wet or dry periods at work to our customers, and they always say how we need the rain or its filling the damn, but generally it never falls where we actually need it most.
