2009 Australian Moto GP thread!

Ok, i know it's not till October, but.......who is thinking of making bthe trek to Phillip Island for the Moto GP....was thinking of giving it a miss myself, and wait till the WSBK next march, as i already have accomodation booked for that....but i could be swayed, if there is a bunch of people going...

Any interest?

Would just love to go to any European Moto GP round....same deal...the tyranny of distance...hence unimaginably expensive!

I can fly for next to nothing as my wife works for an airline, but the tickets and accommodation in Oz were eye wateringly expensive.

The Tyranny of distance, didn't stop the Cavalier.
So why should it stop you?...lol.

I think I would like to go and have a look but it is a long way to go and a lot of speed detection equipment between here and there....hence making a straight forward ride in the middle of the sticks take twice as long as it should and increases the eventual fatigue you feel at the end....Oh carp forgot to take a breath...BANG!...lol.

b3nje909. If you are heading to the GP with the bikeme crew be sure to wear your drinking shoes. Boris doesnt mind a beer or 13. Im jealous for sure.

I could be going, will know by early July when I get my tax return. It was a definate a couple of weeks ago but now I am not too sure. I have the time off work already, the Spirit of Tas is the thing making me change my mind.

Na mate. Ive got my hands full with another forum/track day organiser. But ive met Boris & know all about the bikeme mob. They do some great rides & really know how to enjoy themselves. :thumbup:
