I've seen at least one bike on this site with something like these fitted, but haven't seen a specific post dedicated to them, so here goes...

I've been toying with the idea of powdercoating my OE footpegs in black, but thought I'd also try this option:

Fitted, up close:

Apologies for the state of my bike - it's what one winter's road salt and a half**sed attitude towards cleaning does for you.

The inserts are of course easy peasy to fit, but not cheap - UK £43 from Powerbronze here.

Nevertheless, IMO they look good (and match my carbon fibre tax disc holder lol) and if, like me, you've got a black bike, they do take down the brashness of the OE heel plates a little. However, if it's the proper stealth look you're after, they'll be no substitute for powdercoating the whole footpeg assemblies in black. I'll live with these inserts for a while and see what I think. Another winter's riding they'll probably be near as dammit black anyway...

nice.

Mine's bought from a local guy. Its somewhat similar. He uses 3M sticker to stick & the material used is real carbon fibre customised.
