I'm considering them, but the fit sounds a bit sketchy. Seller says they're held in place with trim tape (3M double sided stuff).

i had a set of flush mounts held on by double sided tape before and they never budged in the 2 years i had that bike... rain or shine...

they covered the hole, so not even inside. they had a plastic plate that covered the hole and had double sided tape on that, then the light itself stuck to the plate.

I had a set that I got for my 07, and they fit on the brackets great with a plastic nut on the back of the light. However, I did not want them for the brackets, but another idea.

Anyway, they looked like they would fit into the fairings of the 06 just fine. they were 1" across at the widest part. A guy I ride with has them in his R1 and they fit perfectly. I think the FZ and the R1 have the same Cut Out, but I am not 100% sure.

I can't imagine they wouldn't fit like the sellers says, i'm just skeptical. There's a bunch of junk product out there...

That seems to be a pretty good find! I might have to get those...

Any idea how they might attach to the bike? I ask because the "standoffs" inside the fairing are cracked a majority of the way around on both sides (bike's fallen on them) and I need to know if I should use some plastic epoxy to fix 'em.
