Just bought these, worth it?

I almost bought the same ones until i saw...

Installation Note:
Remove your fairings
Mount the frame sliders in the engine mount locations
Cut the fairings to allow the sliders to stick out (Suggest to use dremel tool to make the hole larger)
Remount the fairings

I can't see myself coming anywhere near my fizzer with a dremel! i would ruin it.

Still looking for some good "no-cut" sliders.

I can't see any need to cut the fairing cause there is no fairing at the FZ6 (unless you have a after market fairing kit)

In the pics they show they aren't anywhere near the front fairing.

thise are generic instructions, some bikes need the fairings cut others don't. Ours don't

I bought these sliders (though mine are simply black). They are fine. Especially since the ones they replaced after my crash cost me closer to $70 dollars. I have not tested these the hard way, hopefully I won't.

No cutting on a normal FZ6 they mount as all others do in the engine mount points of the frame.

I say good buy! :thumbup:
