Cool, share what you find out.
i hope this picture works.. can someone tell me what this blue thing is and what its used for.. is it worth the money for someone who wants to do tehir own bike work.. dont mean to hijack a thread, but was interested in what this is.. thanks

I have one - it made me feel better to have a guide and it's not terribly expensive or anything but I don't think it's really necessary at the end of the day. The alignment post isn't quite as long as you'd like etc. Since I have it, I do use when I need to.

Spring rates - YOU WILL NOT GET AN ANSWER
These are not linear springs, they don't have a normal rate.
They are a variation on "progressive" springs. One half of the spring will compress easily while the other parts will be more resistant. This provides a better ride, but less predictability for racing.

Ordered mine last week... should be here by the end of this week. I got the 30mm lower model. I opted to raise my forks instead of dropping another $170.00 on lower front springs.

Bump for noodle to update on how the rear spring feels. I am a bid guy and also want to do some 2up this summer...guaranteed its gonna max out the stock spring and looking to upgrade if it seems this spring is worth it.

IMHO, the rear spring is worth the swap for those that do some 2 up riding. The spring will allow for more adjust ability with regards to the preload setting with the added weight compared to the stock rear spring.

Yes, it is time saving. I can check the alignment in under a minute, once the rear hugger is off.

Hey noodle do you remember how long it took your springs to come in? I ordered mine two weeks ago and I am still waiting. Called the guy last friday and he said expect them in Monday. Called him that Wednesday and he expect them in Friday. My next call may be to cancel them, however I don't think I can get them anywhere else so guess I am at Hyperpros mercy.

about a week. seems like they didn't have them in stock and waiting for your springs the come in before they can ship them out to you?

Installed these on mine and have been extremely pleased!!! The ride and handling and are so much better it's amazing. The best $$$ I have spent on the bike by a long way. If you love your FZ6 and want an instant upgrade and are on a budget this is the way to go, the matched set and price point is excellent. Short of fully adjustable suspension upgrade, this is the way to go. I'm takin mine to the track in a couple of weeks, I have high expectations just based on the riding I have done so far.

I went with the standard, 30mm lower seemed a bit much for me. I am 6'1" and about 205lbs w/o gear so the height is not much of an issue. The install was easy and the difference is substantial! Instability I had gottent used to just dealing with are now much more manageable. I generally ride with guys on 1K sport bikes and now feel much better in corners at speed trying to hang on to the tail end.
Ironically I just had a suspension check on my bike, and I am undersprung on both ends. I need to purchase some new springs for the front and use heavier weight fork oil. Wonder how much this is going to set me back. But I'm planning on getting this done when I get my steering head bearings replaced at the same time since their going to have the front end apart anyways.

I think I paid a little over $300 for the combi kit that has the front and rear springs and 15w oil. Pretty good deal considering the improvement, and it was good to go out of the box, I did not want to mess with spacer cutting and such so this worked well.

I agree, it's been the best upgrade so far that puts the "sport" in this sport bike.

My kit just came in today. I ordered it about a week and a half ago, got an email saying that it would take a little longer to get here because they didn't have it on hand. I was surprised to see it come in so quickly. I'll try to take some pics and post it up.
