Bolt's, nut's and washer's

I need some help with the set back plates. I went to home depot, Lowe's and ACE hardware and can't find the hardware to complete the mod. Can anyone help me or give me an idea where to get them. Can't believe i can't find 5/8X 1 1/2 bolts lock nuts and washer's. Any help would be grateful.

Dude Lowes has them. You just have to open alot of bins.

If they for some very very strange reason dont, look in the yellow pages for a industrial supply house, or go to a semi truck parts house.

You need a little local hardware shop down your local high street instead of a chain really. One that looks like it's been around longer that you! They usually sell EVERYTHING and you can buy just one or two of what you need instead of a pack of 10! I love my localk hardware store. All the awful stock bolts tend to slowly get replaced with theirs on my bikes.

5/8'' x 1 1/2'' is the wrong size bolt. 5/8 is freaking huge. The correct size is 5/16'' x 1 1/2''. For mine the exact bolt is 5/16'' 1 1/2'' - 18 with matching nuts. And I used m8 fender washers. Should be able to pick em up from just about any hardware store.

You might want to consider going Metric with your bolts, nuts and washers to match the rest of the fasteners on your bike.

I ran into the same issue with my setback plates. I was able to get the nuts with the nylon inserts and the stainless washers at the local hardware store. The M8 X 40 mm bolts could only be found locally at Autozone.

My advice would be to use metric fasteners where ever possible. If you can find the M8 X40 mm Button Head Cap Screws, you don't need to add and new tools to your kit and they look completely OEM.

lowes has exactly what you need in hardened washers and metric socket head screws and nylock nuts.

They have them in bins, you slide them out and there they are. Dont ask for help. Just go open bins till you find them. They always say we dont have that so they dont have to help you.
