Got your attention? :D

Wanting to put the rim stripe on, hopefully thats what you were thinking!, and i found these:

eBay Motors: Reflective Wheel Rim Sticker Yamaha YZF R1 R6 FZ6 FZ1 (item 280301673615 end time Jan-18-09 16:05:54 PST)

Just not sure which millimeter width to go with. Also if anyone knows a good price on a very nice set (how different can vinyl stickers be?) please pass on the 411.

While I have you here, what do you think of these?

eBay Motors: Yamaha FZR YZF XJ 600 600R FZ6 FZ1 CARBON BAR ENDS (item 330300839402 end time Jan-17-09 15:38:15 PST)

Just trying to find some cheapo mods to make myself feel better about not having a $1000.00 exhaust. >sigh<

I just ordered the bar ends from this guy on ebay too. They shipped today, so I'm hoping to have them by the end of the week. I'll post pics when I get them on. Weather won't warm up for a few days, so a test ride is out for a bit...Give the rim stickers a try and post a review. The seller is in Hong Kong though, so it could take awhile to get 'em.

The curved ones are easier, but either way take your time. I did my last bike with the curved ones...

I got some for xmas... havn't put them on yet as it is too cold to stick here.

( i learned after sticking my stompgrip to my tank)

Do they come in standard size or do we have to cut them to fit our bikes?

usually they come cut to the size of the rim diameter. 17" rims all have the same diameter, the curved ones are usually 4 pieces per side of the rim and if there is a tiny bit of trimming then it should be easy with a razor blade.

wouldn't it be better to have them spray painted on? ofcourse it'll cost a little extra, but I can't imagine that it would be MUCH more expensive. or do they have to add a layer of coating after as well? I'm affraid the ebay stuff won't look as pretty :(

to get the properly painted on it would cost a lot, plus clear coating... the e-bay ones will be fine for me......

So i ordered them today :)

so, which ones did you order. The 14$ reflective? I ma trying to figure out how they would be better then the $7 reflectives i found. Maybe heavier gauge? Maybe same thing for more money?

Don't worry Doc. You'll feel better about your bike when you see mine on Sat :Flip:

Oh, I believe the gauntlet has been thrown my friend. It's throwdown time :spank:

j/k I saw your pic on PNW and it looked good. Been looking forward to hearing an aftermarket exhaust next to my "I rammed a metal rod through my muffler" mod

Ummmm... you sure it was mine? I have stock exhaust. Was the pic of a red or a silver FZ? The red one is in pieces in my garage atm.

There is a guy who goes to Tues Night Coffee that has a Scorp exhaust on his FZ. You would be able to hear that if you wanna show up next Tues.

yeah, i ordered the $7 reflective, it is just adhesive vinyl, if they stink then i will spend the $14, but they have to be the same i would think.
