If you've heard 2bros on an FZ before...

Take the poll. If you haven't heard the pipes in person, vote accordingly.

A person showed up to a ride the other weekend with a FZ and he had the 2bros with Db killers installed. It's 8-oji from the forum.

They're great looking, and I personally didn't think they sounded ultra loud as most people complain. Now pushing it to 10,000 RPM, anything sounds freakin' LOUD then...but idle, and regular street riding (no blasting around) sounded acceptable to me.

am i deaf? Have i listened to too much of that darned "punk music"? LOL:ban:

note: I don't care how many youtube vids you watched on exhaust sounds...unless you heard it in person, you can be biased. :)

They are acceptable in my opinion,(with power tips) installed.

i rode behind some on a group ride and love them, they can get kind of loud, but that is the point isn't it? They are only loud if you romp on them, other than that they have a nice deep low growl

They are very loud without the db killers / powertips. I had a friend stall out his bike because he couldn't hear it with me beside him.

With the db killers they are acceptable.

They are loud and I like it that way. Not sure I would classify it as 'Acceptable'.....more like 'PHUKKIN DOPE!!!'

I had the CF 2Bros on my bike and absolutely loved 'em. Look good, sound good, and weigh 1/2 less than stock... what else could you want?

I took the Db killers off a few weeks ago and gave the FZ a test run and it seemed to make a noticeable difference. With the tips in, usually over 50 mph the wind noise drowns out the exhaust and cars in in the same lane keep their distance. With the tips out, it might of been 60 before the wind noise took over and a lot of cars behind went out of their way not to be in the same lane (that's a good thing). After getting back home I put the Db killers back in b/c it seemed at just the right noise level for me.
Pretty much it depends on how much the rider enjoys/tolerates the noise level. It could be awesome when someone goes screaming by with whatever setup they got but its a different sorta thing when you're the one riding it.

The 2 Bro's pipes are awesome wit the Db killers out! Love em, raucous, angry, and no-one will miss you coming up from behind...and plus gives the crew time to get the kettle on, as you can be heard coming from 3 blocks away!

Just add homemade inserts or the OEM ones they list for the dirtbikes and then they are not only acceptable but perfect :cheer:

Just got the CF ones. Will install them to let you know. My lasers are better looking but if I don't like the 2Bro sound then they will be up for sale.
