2009 model...different chassis?

hello folks,

The chassis of the model 2009 is different from the model 2008?
I am asking why I've installed a two brothers exhaust and it melted all the plastic cover of the original exhaust. Moreover, the belts to hold the exhaust could not be installed.

The frame for the fz6 stays consistent in 09 from 04-08 as well. Unless you have an FZ6R, which is the full fairing version, it should all be the same.

Which plastic melted? The silver that covered the old muffler, or the tail surrounds? Assuming you isntalled correctly, there should be enough space between the tail and the pipes to not contact. The muffler cover shouldnt even be installed

Unless you're insinuating it melted the fender, in which case you should have put on the fender elim which is included in the kit.

where'd it melt? Pictures would be most helpful. Otherwise it may just be improperly installed

The black tail surround plastic. Maybe I did wrong installation. Next weekend I'll take some pics, then you will be able to check more details.
