Just have to complain folks...

Up here in my part of the midwest, beautiful fall days are rudely taken over by Asian Lady Beetles (not to be confused with lady bugs although they look similar to them - just a variation in the red color). These blasted things swarm your house, crawl through any crack in a door/window and make their was inside. They stink, bite and make an awful yellow stain. (You should see my helmet and jacket right now - they were a nice white). They also attack you when you go outside. I hate them!!

I'd like to know what idiot brought them here - I had heard they were brough in for pecan trees in the south and for some odd reason decided to migrate to WI. I'd like to evict them.

I know - you guys probably have an equivalent disgusting bug in your part of the country - but I just had to complain about these guys.

They look just like portable CD players hmmm. Thanks

Nelly
ROTFLMAO!!! :rof: :rof: :rof:

We've got the box elder bugs this time of year, completely swarm any south-facing surface. But they don't bite or attack, they just fall off of things, so I guess I'll keep 'em.

Bah! I hate those things! We have them like no other here to... then when your spring cleaning you find dead ones everywhere and you have to clean them off everything... :spank:

I'm with you on that one ghost. A couple weeks ago, I went for a country ride and was cover in beetle juice. I stopped for a sandwich and left my helmet outside. When I finished my meal, i hit the road again and about a mile or two later I was being bitten on the scalp by the little ba$tard. I had to pull over it was so bad. Not to mention the air intakes in my helmet were clogged with mashed ALBs.

They are a nuisance!

Aerosol Hairspray Can and a Lighter will do the trick. Napalm style.

P.S.
Careful not to ruin your wife's window curtains.

I thought you were going to make a mildly racist statement about female asian american VW new beetle drivers cutting you off in traffic without looking, most likely on a cell phone. :rof:

Nope we don't have those things here, all our bugs are dead or asleep.

ROFLMAO!!! Good one!!

You are soooo correct about them stinking. I couldn't figure out why my vacuum cleaner was so wretched after vacuuming out my windows. When I emptied it.... GAG! It was soooo nasty. We had an infestation up here, our house was moved from one area of town to another...(yep on one of the *^&%(^ trucks that take up the whole freakin road) but it sat empty on the lot for the fall and winter without a basement. They came up in the bottom of the house and when it was done in December and we turned on the heat?!?! holy crud! there were hundreds. I remember we used to watch hockey games and what we thought was the puck were those freakin beetles, they had landed on the TV
