S2 front pads inspection

Can anyone tell me an easy way to access the front brake pads to inspect them .The manual talks about removing locking pins but I cant relate this to the bike.Any help much appreciated.Its a 2007 S2.

I jave the same question, and can somebody post the image of weared front pads for comparison
