Hi all, can you please share how you carry an extra helmet on a Fazer (backpacks/bags are out of picture)? Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean a spare helmet, as your helmet should be on your head.

You can get a small bungie net and bungie it to the passenger seat.

I would not hang it from the helmet lock while riding.

+1 on the bungie net,,i do it all the time as i pick up my wife from work after im done working,,i take her helmet with me in the morning...
it is very safe and secure ,,nothing happened yet but im kinda worried about the rear handlebars,,i dont know if they will be scratched in time ....the hooks of the net is plastic though ,better then metal hooks

Wait, my FZ6 has a helmet lock?! Now if I can only find it... :tard:

edit: Oh, I see, not on the 05. That makes me feel like a bit less of a tard. :)

Euh seriously i would carry it around my arm near my elbow, it depends how far you are travelling, but i've done this in the past and it went well.

I just strap it too the passenger grab rail. Do it so its on one side of the bike so that the top of the helmet is facing away from the bike and the bottom is against the rail. Pull the straps through the rail tight and your good to go. Mine does not wobble at all and never have I thought it would fall off or leave a mark.

I have a Bagster tank protector so i use a bangie net to hold it on the tank or i put it in the tankbag i have. I think it's a little bit dangerous to hang the helmet on the passenger's grab rail or the helmet lock while you ride. :)
