K&N has a more open filter mesh which allows more dirt and air into the intake. More dirt means more wear and tear on the engine and I won't use em' I keep the stock ones. Can't stand the thought of buying a $3-4K engine just to get more power that I don't need. Verified by testing.:rockon:

How many of you have had the finest appear from nowhere and be right on your buttocks before you know it?
I have an hour commute one way everyday and pretty much ride about 10 over on the way in, but on the way home, I like to stretch it out if ya know what I mean..........my FZ6 is candy...
I see it all the time on Hwy 78 where I commute back and forth to work. People texting, reading books, newspapers. It's unbelievable what people do while they are driving. If I come upon someone that is driving really slow I will pass them, fast..........which sometimes freaks em out and wakes...

Had the same problem with the EXO 700, I wear glasses so I pulled the breath guard and that helped some. But now I am gonna try a balaclava and a pair of Scott snowmobile goggles with the breath guard to see if it will fit in the helmet with the shield removed. Scott claims them to be fog proof...
When my last bar starts flashing, I have about 50 miles left. I get 255 miles per tank. Usually averaging 51-52mpg. And usually get the better mileage in the higher rev range.
