Okay great, thanks for all of your inputs so far. I don't know many who ride so it feels good to hear some other sides/ideas. It always helps to get input from other fellow riders.

Alright, all very good answers and I thank you so far.
To answer some of your questions:
Haha, yes, everyone in the hospital gives me the "donorcycle"/"ambulance chaser" or "see you in my unit" jokes but I guess its a risk I take. I have floated to our ortho floor and its a...
Hey all,
Okay, I thought I would never ask this question but I need some input/advice on a dilemma I have. As we are all aware the petrol prices have been going up quite a bit here in the US (I lived in germany, so I am familiar with high prices) I am a proud owner of a 06' FZ6 in blue. I...
Hey all,
So I have been experiencing whine on my 2006 as well. I bought it used at 16k miles. So far I noticed that the whine is speed dependent and happens with the clutch engaged or disengaged. It also happens on accel or decel. It will dominate any other sounds and seems to stem from the...

Okay, great idea. I went out and tried it :) With the paperclip the light was working so it must be the switch. Will be replacing it next week. Thanks for the suggestion.
Um, can I hire you as a personal mechanic until I get used to the mechanics of the bike? My Vespa had a little of a...
Hm, I can hear the switch clicking when I depress the lever so maybe its faulty like you all said. I'll start by getting a new one so I can rule the part out. Will keep you updated. Thanks again :)

Hey Everyone,
So I was checking out my FZ6 a little closer today (actually had some time from school work) and noticed that the rear brake light is not working when I squeeze the handlebar lever. It works for the foot brake though. Bike is running etc. Ideas?

Well, the first time I filled I automatically filled from the right with my right. I guess its a habit since my cars filler is on the right too. My scooter tank was in the back so I could fill it from pretty much anywhere....not to mention it was only 1.5 gallons.
