do you want a traily styled twin then get the Vstrom do you want the same motor in a sports trellis frame get the SV650 or SV1000 if you get the Bandit you get a time old traditional bike with basic suspension and a storming/bullet proof motor, i love v-twin motors and the power deilvery hence i own 2 but the FZ is a cracking bike specially in S2 guise once out in the twisties i only ever use 5 or 6 as the motor is so tractable (once its run in i doubt i will get out of third:thumbup its comfy for short people like me and its light enough and its more bike than i will ever use my capabilities will run out long before the bikes,
we have a race series over here called the mini twins and most are SV650's with a race fairing fitted and sticky tyres and they fly do the same to the road bike and it becomes a B road basher light and flickable with loads of traction from the vtwin pulses
