Defect Details: The Throttle Position Sensor may not function properly due to an internal fault within the switch. As a result, some owners may experience an intermittent unstable idle which may cause the engine to stall.

There is a current recall out for the TPS units. Check with your dealer if your bike is affected. Mine is going in this Tuesady for TPS replacement (although I was fortunate enough to never experience any of the faulty TPS issues or problems).

OK, I had the TPS unit replaced today. I never noticed any fault in it, but I did get the recall letter. So now it should be all right again.
