So I took my bike in for a service today and got a courtesy XJ6N.

I've only travvelled from service place to home. The brakes seem very dull and to complement it so does the engine. Goes OK but has no OMG feeling. It seems to take more input to change direction, maybe the tyres need pumping up.

Looks good, the stock mirrors are nice.

£1000 excess on the insurance  so I'm not going to ride it too much.

If I go to my local Yammy dealer I arrange to get the bike in at a certain time and then walk over the road to McDonalds and wait for them to call me some time later...... courtesy bike.... Yeah right.. I am lucky to get courtesy shown to me as I pay the inflated bill!

I have found a little backstreet bike shop where they do enduro's and they can fettle my bike from now on- half the price of the Yammy dealer and from local reputation well worth every penny they charge!

Bike out of guarantee now so still getting a stamp on my service record just not an official Yamaha dealer
