WTF is with the single sided swingarm?

Isn't it faster to take off the whell off of sssa, especially if it is shaft drive? Honda goldwing 1800GL has sssa and it is very rigid. The engineers know what they are doing. Yes, it would be stronger with 2, but it also could be over-designed. the game in structural design is not which one is stronger, but what is the optimum design. Because other considerations come into play such as costs, maintenance, and repair.

I would never buy one myself. I think that while this concept is race-inspired and it may serve it's purpose well there, (since everything is probably rebuilt after every race and the time to change a rear wheel out is critical), I only see severe bearing loading, not only at the rear wheel bearings but up on the front end of the swingarm as well. If an aluminum swingarm is used to boot, (where there is constant flexing, bending, and twisting, it places additional burdens upon these bearings, (not to mention the additional forces of braking and acceleration). JMO
