WTB / WTT FZ6 Handle Bar Clamp

Hello,

Want to get me hands on the old style clamps for the FZ6 (two piece) was in 2004 models etc

I have for offer the appeal of cash or trade for the single piece.

Reason being I want to stick an iPhone mount in the middle of my handle bars.

too bad you're on that side of the pond. i'd do this if you were over here. but i think by the time shipping is dealt with, it wouldn't be worth it to either one of us.


edit: had a change of mind after writing this. we're both checking out shipping costs to see if we'd like to do this.

I had my iPhone mounted there to use it as a GPS/Speedo and ended up taking it off. It vibrates the phone so bad the screen would spin wildly, its hard to read the MPH when it decided to go from vertical to upside down! I would test run the mount system you have to make sure it keeps the vibrations under control.

I did exactly that (swapped new clamp for old ones) and use a Garmin Nuvi with a cheap waterproof mount.. zero issues.. love the setup!

In the states, the old style clamps can be had online for under $30 for the set.
